The Willetton Premier Cricket Club is delighted to announce that talented batting all-rounder Kade Povey has signed for the Dragons.
Kade joins from Gosnells Cricket Club, where the 20-year-old scored 281 runs and took six wickets last season. A middle-order batter and medium pace bowler, Kade has shown his promise in first grade for the Hawks as well as in WA colours, scoring scored 96 runs from 3 innings at an average of 46 in the 2022 U19 national championships.
Kade will fit in well with a talented and energetic young playing group. On his ambitions at the club, Kade said he is "looking to get success in whatever grade, and as a club, push all the grades forward".
When asked what to expect of him in a Willetton shirt, Kade responded "someone that's going to work hard and do everything they can for the team".
The club welcomes Kade to the club and can't wait to see what he can bring to the group.
